Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech ➝ High Atlas Mountains ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Ouarzazate

Depart early from Marrakech and drive across the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass with its panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and Berber villages.

Stop at the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Explore the ancient alleys and learn about its fascinating history.

Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit the Taourirt Kasbah and film studios if time permits.

Day 2: Ouarzazate ➝ Dades Valley ➝ Todra Gorge ➝ Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, drive through the Skoura Oasis and the picturesque Valley of Roses, known for its traditional kasbahs and seasonal rose fields.

Proceed to the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, then visit the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs create a spectacular natural canyon.

In the afternoon, continue toward Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a sunset camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes and arrive at your desert camp for dinner, Berber music, and a night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert ➝ Rissani ➝ Erfoud ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Midelt

Wake up early to witness the stunning Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga and begin your journey toward Fes.

Travel through Rissani, a historic caravan town, and pass Erfoud, famous for its fossils and palm groves. Continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, dotted with Berber villages and lush palm oases.

Reach Midelt in the Middle Atlas Mountains for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Midelt ➝ Ifrane ➝ Cedar Forests ➝ Fes

After breakfast, depart for Fes via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as “Switzerland of Morocco,” for photos and a stroll. Continue through the cedar forests, home to the Barbary macaque monkeys.

Arrive in Fes in the afternoon or early evening. Your tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Morocco’s landscapes and culture.
