Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ Dades Valley
Your adventure begins early in the morning as we depart Marrakech and ascend through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Our first major stop is the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s most famous ksar and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its ancient pathways and admire its architecture featured in movies like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.
We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” before heading through the Skoura Oasis and the fragrant Valley of Roses.
By evening, we arrive in the stunning Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and lush landscapes.
Dinner & Overnight: Hotel/Riad in Dades Valley
Day 2: Dades Valley ➝ Todra Gorge ➝ Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi)
After breakfast, we drive toward the impressive Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most spectacular canyon landscapes. Enjoy free time to walk between its 300-meter-high cliffs and take beautiful photos.
We then continue our journey to the legendary Merzouga Desert, passing through Berber villages and inspiring desert landscapes.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, your camel caravan awaits. Begin a sunset camel trek through the towering Erg Chebbi dunes, one of Morocco’s most iconic desert regions.
Arrive at your desert camp just before sunset, enjoy a delicious traditional dinner, and spend the night under the starry Sahara sky with local Berber music around the fire.
Dinner & Overnight: Desert Camp (Standard or Luxury)
Day 3: Merzouga ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Midelt ➝ Azrou ➝ Ifrane ➝ Fes
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we begin our journey toward Fes.
We drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its vast palm groves and dramatic canyon landscapes. Continue toward Midelt, where we stop for lunch.
Our route then takes us through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, home to the famous Barbary macaque monkeys in Azrou. Enjoy a short stop to see these friendly animals.
Before reaching Fes, we pass through Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.”
Your tour ends with drop-off at your accommodation in Fes.
